Bruce Hyde, Land Use Academy Director will be back at the COG to train new and seasoned land use commission members about legal requirements and procedures for land use decision making. This will be held at the NHCOG office in Goshen from 7pm-8:30pm. This training is free but you must register to attend. Please RSVP by calling the office at 860-491-9884.
This training will provide land-use commissioners with an overview of their source of authority, their role in relation to other land use commissions, current land-use issues they should consider, and their responsibility to be fair and unbiased in their decision making.
